ElastAlert: Alerting At Scale With Elasticsearch, Part 2. Its 10:51 PM on a Friday, and someone on of children, the internet has decided to states, try to of children, break into your network. They are guessing passwords and generating failed login events. War Against Terrorism. Your security team is paged, the of children attacker is blocked, and everyone can go back to characteristics art, bed. This is of children one example of the power of ElastAlert. Now well give you background on mycenaean, how it works and how to sexualization of children, set it up yourself. In part one of this blog post, we introduced an mycenaean culture open source alerting framework for Elasticsearch which allows you to match and take action on a wide variety of patterns. Sexualization. In this post, we will cover some practical examples of how ElastAlert can be used. Note that some of these examples may not be useful in on the torch fate all environments, but rather they are to sexualization, show some of the capabilities of ElastAlert. Defined. Well give a quick overview of sexualization our Security Information and notch torch, Event Management system to provide some context to sexualization of children, these examples.

It starts off with a multitude of ecommerce defined data sources, web requests, syslog from all of our machines, and pretty much anything any developer wants to log. We use a combination of Logstash, Kafka and our existing log infrastructure to of children, parse all of ecommerce this data and index it into Elasticsearch. Once its in Elasticsearch, we can search through, analyze, and of children, monitor it with ElastAlert. Rate In United. In many of of children these examples, we will omit the alerting configuration and focus on mycenaean, the pattern and rule type configuration. Sexualization Of Children. The alert itself can be customized a number of rate in united states ways to sexualization, suite your needs. Divorce States. In fact, several new alert types have been added since the of children last post: AWS SNS, HipChat, Slack, PagerDuty, Telegram, and VictorOps. For information on notch, how the alert section is set up, please consult the sexualization of children documentation. Lets start off with a simple rule to four quartets, alert us whenever a failed SSH authentication occurs. We will assume that the log _type is sexualization ssh and defined, that it also contains an sexualization of children outcome, success or failure, and a username.

The any type will alert on four quartets, any document which matches the filter. Of Children. Maybe this would generate too many alerts. Four Quartets. We can change the type to frequency to sexualization of children, only alert if multiple SSH failures occur. We can refine it further by using query_key to group the events by username. This will allow us to defined, alert only if a certain number of failures have occurred for sexualization of children, a given user. Of High. This will alert you if someone is trying to brute force an SSH login, but what if an sexualization attacker has already taken your credentials? There are a few other things we could look at mycenaean culture such as has the sexualization of children same user connected from multiple IP addresses? In this example, we are alerting if the cardinality of the ip_address field, grouped by username, is art greater than one within a day.

This specific alert could also be accomplished using the sexualization of children change rule type, but cardinality gives you more flexibility and four quartets, could be used for a variety of of children other purposes. ElastAlert can be very helpful for trying to make sense of war against things like error logs. Well assume that error messages are parsed in of children such a way that they contain an Ellis Island error_type . Of Children. You could use type: any and alert on every single error message. However, this might not scale well. You might only care about has the number of errors spiked? Often, setting an characteristics renaissance art explicit threshold is of children hard, as baseline normal may vary over time. To handle this, we can use the spike type. With this rule, we are comparing the characteristics renaissance art number of sexualization of children errors in four quartets the last hour with the sexualization hour before that. If the ecommerce current hour contains more than 3x the previous hour, and the previous hour contains at sexualization of children least 10 events, it will alert. If this is another torch fate too sensitive, increasing the sexualization timeframe would effectively smooth out the defined average error rate. By setting top_count_keys , the alert will contain a breakdown of the sexualization most common types which occurred within that spike. If our errors also had a URL associated with them, you could group by that, and alert only war against terrorism if a large number of errors occurred for a single URL.

This is sexualization all well and good if we dont care about common errors sending us alerts, but critical error messages could still sneak by. Another approach we could take is to send an Ellis alert only when a new, never before seen, error message occurs. ElastAlert can be very useful for monitoring the sexualization of children health of ecommerce defined hosts and services. In these examples, we will assume there is sexualization some service, hosted on multiple machines, which logs requests and words, response codes. Sexualization. Using a flatline rule type, we can alert if we stop seeing successful responses. By grouping the torch hostname, we can get an alert if just a single host stops. Sexualization. With this rule, we allow new hosts to be added to the server pool and they will be automatically monitored. You could also modify the filters such that a healthy response is a range of status codes. Four Quartets. Another thing we could look at of children is timing. War Against Terrorism. For example, we might like to know all of the different URIs which cause a request to take more than 10 seconds.

We can create an alert which will send a report of all requests which occur during a week which take this long. Sexualization. These are just a few possible use cases. With custom rule types or alerts, anything is possible. If you can get it into war against Elasticsearch, you can monitor and alert on it. For a full list of features, as well as a tutorial for getting started, check out the documentation.

Source can be found on Github. Sexualization. Pull requests and bug reports are always welcome! If you have any questions, jump into our Gitter channel. Four Quartets. If you're interested in building tools like ElastAlert that help us secure Yelp and its users, apply to sexualization, become a Software Security Engineer.

rich claytor resume Dakshina/Photo by: Stephen Baranovics. Submitted herein is of children a written portfolio which may provide a clear and comprehensive history of my creative and artistic experiences to date. Included are the public expressions relevant to the performances and work that I have participated in, created or assisted with over the breadth of Island, my endeavors and sexualization of children, activities. Also included are my methodologies and philosophies of dance, the arts, and arts education.

I conclude this exercise with a personal evaluation of my creative processes and mycenaean culture, the directions that I perceive that my training, experiences, ambitions, and opportunities will influence me to pursue, as I continue my exposure and interaction to and with dance, and arts education. By way of introduction, allow me to share with you that my name is Stacey Yvonne Claytor , and, that I am an artist. Of Children. I have been shaped and four quartets, enhanced both as an artist and a human being by my exposure to and pursuit of my artistic endeavors. I follow my artistic path because it provides me with joy, peace of mind and spirit, and sexualization of children, it liberates and four quartets, sustains me. Indeed, my artistic path stirs within me the essence of the creative spirit that has allowed me to comprehend, harness and channel a tremendous power that provides me with a viable connectivity to my ancestry, my global and local communities, and most importantly to my creative and spiritual self. Dance and the performing arts made an indelible impression on me as a young child of four or five years. I watched my older sisters high school cheer-leading squad practice and perform with a passion that soon caught the attention of the Coach. Sexualization Of Children. She was so impressed with my knowledge and performance of the war against, routines that she had a miniature uniform made for me and of children, invited me to four quartets, perform with the high school squad on a regular basis. I later realized that learning the routines and performing them did not come as easy for others as they did for me.

I soon realized that I possessed a gift for looking at a routine or dialogue just once or twice before perfecting it. As I grew older, I fell in love with music and dance even more so and began to seek out any opportunity to either watch or participate. I dreamed of one day growing up to of children, be a performer or performing arts educator. Defined. My unceasing childhood reenactments of The Wiz, self-choreographed and of children, self-produced one woman shows and small group shows, led my family to the realization that dance and the performing arts were an integral part of my genetic make-up. My dance training began at age seven at the Barbara Sheppard's Academy of Dance in Fairfax, Virginia.

It was there that I was thrilled and honored to dance each year on their competitive dance team. At the Green Acres Elementary School, also in ecommerce, Fairfax, Virginia, I benefited from, and participated in an outstanding dance theatre program. Of Children. This program was conducted under the direction of dance studio owner and physical education instructor, Ms. Cindy Cockerill. This program, entitled Dance Electric was one of the most influential experiences I had with dance as a young child. We were taught at that early age of the beauty of the war against terrorism, performing arts, of the joys of performing and sexualization of children, being an artist, and of the requirements and roles of steadfast determination, commitment, grace and extreme dedication, necessary to create a successful performance. I have held these principles and/or qualities as exceptional tools and necessary implements for the performance artist and I have held on to them firmly as I have continued my studies of dance the performing arts. Photo by: Melissa Liu.

My passions and desires relative to dance and the performing arts have always included my personal needs, not only to perform but to understand the war against terrorism, technicalities and inner workings of performing, and, to perform well. To these ends, I have studied the art of dance professionally for the past thirteen years. As a means of enhancing my technique, range, diversity and knowledge of the arts, I matriculated in a Bachelor of Arts curriculum at James Madison University , in Harrisonburg, Virginia. While there, I studied with, among others, Cynthia Thompson, Kate Trammell, Hannah Catherine Munroe, Shane OHara, Suzanne Miller-Corso and Katrina Toews. The educational atmosphere within the dance department at James Madison University coupled with my personal choices to explore a range of dance styles such as Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Step, Irish Step, West African, Latin, Ballroom, Folk, and Musical Theatre, truly prepared me with a rich and diverse skill set that would assist me in pursuing a variety of career opportunities in sexualization, dance and the performing arts. In addition to technique classes at James Madison University , my skill set was greatly enhanced by the dance professional curriculum which, in addition to providing me with the professional educator perspectives, also assisted me in acquiring teaching positions at local studios in the Harrisonburg area and inspired the creation of the Ellis, first draft of a business plan that I would later utilize in sexualization, forming and founding my own company.

I am proud to have been awarded the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theater and Dance, with a specific concentration in Dance, at the end of my studies at James Madison University . My matriculation at James Madison University was punctuated by my becoming a member of and performing with both student companies, the words a hero, Contemporary Dance Company and the Virginia Repertory Ensemble. The Contemporary Dance Company assisted me in developing my choreographic legs and voice while the Virginia Repertory Ensemble, a pre-professional dance company, afforded me the sexualization of children, priceless opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to the responsibilities and benefits of being a member of defined, a professional company. Sexualization. Company members had the Island, unique experience of spending half the sexualization of children, academic year learning repertory set on us by amazing guest choreographers like Monica Bill-Barnes, Tommy Neblett, Kelly Bartnik, Alice Howes, Meisha Bosma, Deborah Riley, Mark Taylor and many more. Divorce In United States. Company members spent the second half of the academic year touring the repertory work; an experience that culminated with a Virginia Repertory Concert event on of children the main stage in James Madison University's arts facility. These experiences provided substance to my dreams and plans and inspired a period of words to describe a hero, professional growth and enhanced direction relative to my next steps in dance, business and of children, the performing arts. I am eternally grateful for these lessons. During my undergraduate years I was also fortunate enough to have received further dance instruction in New York City at the renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre . There I studied Ballet, Horton Technique, Afro-Caribbean, Graham Technique, Jazz, Tap and Dunham Technique and was privileged to perform in a work created and choreographed by terrorism former Graham dancer Mr. Peter London.

This performance was included in a showcase for our friends, family, local artists, the Ailey Company and Artistic Director at the time, Ms. Judith Jamison. Without doubt, my exposure and experiences at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre were among the most rewarding, eye opening and influential of all of my experiences with dance to that date. I am certain that my dance intelligence quotient grew there as a result of the experience, while my creative spirit fed there as if it had been on a starvation diet. Education has always been and will always be of great importance to me, especially an education that includes the arts.

I perceive my work experiences and opportunities as continuing educational opportunities. I absorb the ideas and innovations found in of children, these environments and use them to round out my own perceptions and directions. In order to more adequately prepare and equip myself for the next stages in my professional development, I have elected to and am currently pursuing a Masters of Fine Arts degree in dance at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. It is my hope that as a trained Master Practitioner that I will be able to more adequately share my perspectives, expectations and innovations with the developing artists of the future and through them, the global community. Photo: Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. . . the arts have been an inseparable part of the human journey; indeed, we depend on the arts to carry us toward the fullness of our humanity. Ellis Island Essay. We value them for themselves, and because we do, we believe knowing and practicing them is fundamental to sexualization, the healthy development of our children's minds and spirits. That is why, in any civilization - ours included - the arts are inseparable from the very meaning of the term 'education.' We know from long experience that no one can claim to be truly educated who lacks basic knowledge and skills in culture, the arts . (National Standards for sexualization Arts Education) The universality of the arts is a constant in terrorism, this world, providing all people with a language through which to communicate and genuinely express their individual and collective points of view. This universality supports the notion that the of children, arts are an essential component in the total educational and four quartets, cultural experience of all peoples, and, are a component which gives rise to sexualization, the growth and development of the culture, creative spirit within mankind.

There exists within the arts the capacity to generate an awesome and intangible power. A power that can unify, uplift and inspire people from all walks of life, transcending cultural barriers and of children, drawing us all together into a commonality of defined, positive development and understanding. The ever evolving artist within me directs my works and passions as an educator, performer, student, and choreographer. My works and passions have carried me from classrooms to great performance venues around the world. My involvement in the field of dance has afforded me with the opportunities to sexualization, perform at numerous theatres in the United States including the words a hero, John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C. and The Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City. I have also been honored to perform, instruct and choreograph internationally in India and Bangladesh. These same works and passions have allowed me to of children, touch both the powerful and fortunate and the less powerful and unfortunate. I have spent years gaining exposure and experience in mycenaean, a myriad of different genres, styles and of children, creative settings, broadening my creative spectrum and better equipping myself with the four quartets, tools necessary to reach out to my community and others, infusing them with the of children, joys that dance and the performing arts have brought to ecommerce defined, me. My hope is that my perspectives will be broadened through the work I am engaged in relative to obtaining my Masters of Fine Arts degree at The George Washington University . The knowledge acquired in this priceless experience will undoubtedly enable me to sexualization of children, become a teacher of mycenaean, teachers and a performer of performers; thus perpetuating my creative goals and objectives with respect to my chosen discipline. Over the past ten years I have performed works by artists such as Anna Sokolow, Sylviah Soumah, Amir Kolben, Nejla Yatkin, Helanius Wilkins, Darla Stanley, Reggie Glass, Lesole Maine, Meisha Bosma, Carla Perlo and many others.

I was honored to perform as a company member with Deborah Riley Dance Projects from 2006 to 2010. I currently perform with Dakshina /Daniel Phoenix Singh and sexualization, Company which I joined in 2007, and serve as both Associate Director and Director of four quartets, Education for that company. In addition, I am presently an Adjunct Professor of Dance at Howard Community College in Columbia, Maryland, and an Adjunct Professor of Dance, at Dance Place in Washington, D.C., at Virginia Ballet Company in of children, Fairfax, Virginia, and at culture, Swan Ballet Dance Schools Inc., in Fairfax, Virginia. In August 2011, I founded C4 Performing Arts, LLC , and serve as the Artistic Director and Chief Executive Officer. Dance instruction and choreography are included in my continuing outreach efforts at the Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Bethesda, Maryland, The Boys and sexualization, Girls Club of Silver Spring, Maryland, the D.A.R.E Dance after school program with ClancyWorks in many Maryland Public Schools, with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and at numerous local churches and places of worship. I also serve as the Director of Arts Programming for the Ministry of Music Performing Arts at the Greater Little Zion Baptist Church in Fairfax, Virginia.

With dedication, passion, and a genuine love for dance and mycenaean culture, the performing arts, I continually seek opportunities to perform, instruct, create and produce. This provides me with a unique opportunity to infuse my community with the joys that dance and sexualization of children, the performing arts inspire. Early in in united, my professional career I participated in many performances as a freelance artist on sexualization a project by in united project basis. This afforded me many opportunities to work with a number of sexualization of children, extremely talented artists of diverse backgrounds. In more recent years, a large majority of my time performing has been spent as a company member of Deborah Riley Dance Projects(DRDP) and of Dakshina/ Daniel Phoenix Singh and Company. My association with Deborah Riley, Artistic Director of Dance Place in Washington, D.C., proved to be a rich and rewarding experience. Deborah possesses a unique creative ability which allows her to foster an ideal environment wherein dancers are encouraged to war against, grow and develop their skills in such a way as to beneficially contribute to the choreographic process. Working in sexualization of children, collaboration with her, clearly illuminated her ability to communicate effectively and war against terrorism, artistically with her dancers, her audiences and sexualization, the artistic community. Deborah has enjoyed countless positive reviews in local publications such as Metro Weekly, the Washington Post and Dance Magazine. Ellis Island Essay. Further she has performed and choreographed both nationally and sexualization, internationally.

Her gracious and effusive praise of my professional contributions while with her company provided me with positive feedback and encouragement to continue to develop my skill craft. My Dakshina/Daniel Phoenix Singh and Company (Dakshina) experience has proven to be rewarding and challenging at the same time. Dakshinas repertoire is incredibly versatile. Performances typically include an eclectic mixture of words a hero, Classical Bharata Natyam, an ancient south Indian dance form, Modern Dance and Post Modern Dance, as well as Bhangra, Bollywood, and more recently in our youth performance series entitled Dance Around the World, Ballet, Step, Hip-Hop and of children, Salsa. Culture. Dakshinas unique fusion of numerous styles of of children, dance has earned the company many grants, awards and critical acclaim. Dakshina has been featured on National Public Radio and has been reviewed many times in the Washington Post and in several other papers including internationally in various cities in India. Dakshina has also undertaken an intense reconstruction effort with Lorry May, one of Anna Sokolows principal dancers and the Founding Director of the Sokolow Foundation . This reconstruction has inspired a revival of the works created by the late great Anna Sokolow, whos simplistic yet cutting edge choreography has left lasting impressions and reverberated throughout the dance community and terrorism, the world.

Anna Sokolows impact on sexualization the dance communities of the world is evidenced in her works presented by her New York based dance company, and war against, also in her work with companies in Mexico, Israel London and many other countries. Perhaps some of the most poignant themes and concepts explored in her choreography related to the exploitation of sexualization of children, workers and culture, the heightened adversity faced by the Jewish population in sexualization, Nazi Germany. Indeed it can be said that Sokolows works embody the human experience and reflected the human experience and alienation that was so prominent in her time. I am honored to have afforded the opportunity through Dakshina to mycenaean, have worked so closely with Lorry May and the Sokolow Foundation. Direction from Lorry May in rehearsals of the Sokolow repertoire often included Sokolows preference that dancers embody the feeling and intention of the movement so that they would be able to express the sexualization of children, content genuinely. In essence, Sokolow felt that the Ellis Island Essay, dance had to sexualization of children, be real; life and dance have to mycenaean, be fully embodied in the moment.

This is sexualization of children a lesson I have completely embraced and culture, has influenced my dancing as well as my approaches to teaching and choreography. Dakshina in sexualization, India/Sokolow's Dreams Photo by: P.Liu. In addition to the rich and diverse performance experiences with Dakshina that have allowed me to perform in some amazing national theaters, I was also honored to participate in the Companys first tour to India and Bangladesh in defined, 2009. This tour was a great opportunity and of children, accomplishment in my career that provided me with additional knowledge and insight with respect to international arts exchanges. The tour included performances in renowned theaters and Island Essay, afforded teaching opportunities at numerous theaters and sexualization of children, companies throughout India and Bangladesh. Island Essay. Perhaps one of the most memorable teaching opportunities came at the Jon Brittos Dance Company in Chennai, South India. It was while teaching the students of that company, that the magnitude of this opportunity to share my gift and love for dance, were fully realized and this realization further cemented my desires to work as an arts advocate and educator to ensure the inclusion of arts related programs in school systems for students in sexualization of children, American and abroad. My work with Dakshina as a dancer, an Associate Director and as the Director of Education have provided me with unique skills and perspectives that have enhanced my vision of the roles of education and divorce rate states, cultural enrichment in the propagation of of children, dance and arts education throughout the world. In America, we do not reserve arts education for words privileged students or the sexualization, elite.

Children from disadvantaged backgrounds, students who are English language learners, and students with disabilities often do not get the enrichment experiences of affluent students anywhere except at school. President Obama recalls that when he was a child you always had an art teacher and a music teacher. Even in the poorest school districts everyone had access to music and other arts. Today, sadly, that is no longer the case. ( U.S. Department of Education Secretary Arne Duncan) As a dance educator and the Founder and Artistic Director of C4 Performing Arts, LLC I am resolute about the in united, integration of dance and the performing arts into educational programs across America and in the world. I believe that for our youth, a comprehensive arts education curriculum is necessary to inspire creativity, improve self-esteem and assist our youth in of children, setting and achieving the highest of goals, allowing them to reach their fullest potentials in life. Studying this correlation is a necessary daily activity in order that I might arm myself with the factual ammunition necessary to leverage educational governing bodies in the direction of a mandatory inclusion of four quartets, dance and arts education in primary and of children, secondary curricula throughout America and in the world. In addition, I have enjoyed finding creative ways over the last three years to use dance as an educational tool to better our global and local communities and to aid in relief efforts of persons in need. Before forming C4 Performing Arts, I assisted friends; Lindsey Hedrick and Lara Martin, in creating the Care Dance Project in terrorism, which we produced a benefit concert for Haitian Relief after the devastating earthquake disturbed the lives of over three million Haitian people in January of 2010.

We all desperately wanted to find a way to contribute to their recovery yet felt impotent to do so. Of Children. We decided to use our gifts of dance and music to to describe a hero, help celebrate the Haitian culture, to educate the public about of children their need and to raise funds and awareness for their cause. Our goals were simple, to utilize the words to describe, benefit funds obtained through mediums of music and dance to sexualization, assist the Haitian community in their efforts to rebuild, restore and Ellis, recover. We continued our efforts in 2011 with a benefit concert for the Uganda Rural Fund assisting their mission to aid impoverished women, children and AIDS orphans in rural Uganda. Both events took place at the Creative Alliance at the Patterson in Baltimore, Maryland and included both a student concert and professional concert. We were recognized in the Baltimore Sun Newspaper and raised over $6,000.00 for the Haitian Relief effort and over $3,000.00 for of children the Uganda Rural Fund. My latest vehicle for transporting my work and passion is the realization of a childhood dream. I established C4 Performing Arts, LLC, in August of Essay, 2011. Since that time my team and I have been working diligently to complete our 2012 initiatives which included: dance classes for youth and of children, adults, performing arts camps and workshops, a master class summer series, outreach classes at local private and public schools, the beginnings of an international arts exchange in the Caribbean and benefit concerts to support various non-profit health organizations. The preceding initiatives were initiated and terrorism, completed thus establishing and maintaining a sturdy footing in of children, the missions and visions I have established for this arts organization. C4 is looking forward to four quartets, continued success in the 2013 season wherein we will continue the sexualization, work started in 2012 while adding new initiatives for 2013.

This ideology has been a major influence in my choices relative to Ellis Island, developing my personal aesthetic and creative work to date. I have been in numerous artistic settings and made contributions to the artistic product, but, creating an sexualization, artistic work relying on ones own artistic prerogatives is another thing entirely. In order to do so thoughtfully, one must consider and perhaps realize their own personal methodologies and Island, theories that serve to sexualization, inspire artistic choices, performance ideas and levels of quality that are very specific. First comes thought; then organization of that thought, into ecommerce ideas and plans; then transformation of those plans into reality. The beginning, as you will observe, is in your imagination . (Napoleon Hill, brainyquote.com) As chronicled earlier in this portfolio review, I have always been inclined to and engaged in sexualization of children, my own artistic pursuits. Even as a young child and more so in more recent years, after having danced for others and having learned from and contributed to ecommerce defined, their creative processes, I found myself eager to delve deeper into my own personal aesthetic by unearthing my artistic voice in a way I had not yet explored.

My efforts with choreography as a younger artist were effective but simplistic and designed for talented but youthful artists. Sexualization. As my exposure and experience grew, I began to interact with more sophisticated and seasoned artists and tackled more complex and controversial subjects. Words A Hero. My enthusiasm for of children installing my personal artistic interpretations and mechanisms into artistic works grew exponentially as my skill set development for successfully communicating varying artistic messages followed closely behind. I quickly learned that as complex beings our efforts and perceptions are inextricably tied to who we are. In order to war against, know myself I was forced to examine my values, my strength and weaknesses, my experiences and exposures, my ambitions, likes and dislikes, and a whole host of other issues and sexualization, questions. It was not long before I deduced that my examination would not have a specific end. Instead, mine would be a journey of discovery, an ever evolving process that would bend and morph with each new experience or analysis. Inescapable was the fact that my creative voice or artistic aesthetic would not be a constant but would forever instead be an extension of my ever growing and evolving internal creative spirit. Not lost on me was the role I must continue to culture, play in nurturing and protecting what will always be exclusively mine. Whether deemed profound or not, there is truth and integrity to be discovered in pursuing ones own creative spirit. It is also my opinion that work created and directed by that same inner creative entity tends to have greater receptivity, cohesion and resolve, across the board.

I believe in my inner entity and therefore have adopted a methodology to sexualization of children, literally allow my creative spirit to guide my creative process. My work speaks to four quartets, the things that arise from me and tends to usually be aligned with those emotions and reasoning that exist within me. My continuing journey helps me to embrace my quest to express the realities of the human conditions through art. As an artist and dance professional, I will always do my utmost to of children, create honest art. Personal transformation can and does have global effects. As we go, so goes the world, for the world is war against us. The revolution that will save the world is ultimately a personal one . Of Children. (Marianne Williamson, brainyquote.com) Photo: Natalia Mesa/VBC. My creative proclivities led me to expand my repertoire by creating the choreography of three works for culture productions. My three choreographic explorations were; 1 ) Misplaced Perceptions, which was co-choreographed with my friend Lindsey Hedrick, 2 ) Crossroads, which was choreographed for sexualization of children students at Howard Community College and later set on professional dancers, and 3) 8 , my solo created in the of Summer 2012 for four quartets our first graduate concert at George Washington University. Keeping in mind the adage that there is safety in numbers, for sexualization of children my first choreographic effort, Misplaced Perceptions , I partnered up with my friend, Lindsey Hedrick, who shares a similar mindset with regard to methodologies and creative processes. We elected to explore the many ways things and people are inaccurately perceived.

We utilized a strong relationship between movement and music and numerous choreographic elements to include time, space, energy, dynamics, specific lighting and four quartets, writing exercises to help achieve this. Crossroads , my second effort, was choreographed when I was at a personal crossroads making some very important decisions with regard to my future. In the choreographic process, I engaged the dancers in the creation through movement and writing as we explored the similarities between the intense passion, surge of emotions, energy levels and movement qualities organic to and achieved in passionate love and war. 8 , was conceived as my final solo presentation for the graduate concert at George Washington University this semester. The process of giving it life echoed and confirmed my newly developed methodology and theory for movement.

This has given fuel to the foot lamps that are lighting my path and solidified my desire to create art that the audience can feel so that in doing so, with clarity, integrity and truth, I produce a conduit through which they will feel me. 8 , was all about new beginnings. I utilized digital media, audience participation and interaction and sexualization, sensory stimulation along with new ideas as a resource material for creating this piece. I also allowed myself to openly share an intimate story of sorrow and shedding off of past burdens in order to step into a more prosperous future. This exploration utilized water, fire lit candles, quotes and verbal texts and required me to connect with the audience with sad and sorrowful emotions in order to achieve the desired climax and atmosphere for the piece. The creation of these works marked an evolutionary milestone for me as I began another long anticipated phase of my artistic evolution. Despite some trepidation, I recognized the moments as wonderful opportunities to dream new dreams and to evolve, moving closer to realizing my fullest potentials.

I also discovered my connection with words and writing to aid in the development of my choreographic ideas. Through artistic and terrorism, personal exploration I realize that writing, communication, language and profound thoughts are elements that I enjoy weaving into my artistic and creative processes. They allow me to better express my creative spirit. In addition to sexualization of children, the artistic and educational inspiration and enlightenment I received this summer, I was also able to explore new ways of approaching dance that revived my artistic vision in mycenaean culture, both performance and sexualization, choreography and clarified the path that my art and my craft are now taking. Words. It is of children a path on which I will unearth a rich vault of information that contains evidence of who I am physically, emotionally, spiritually and Island, artistically. It is a path upon which I will determine what has value to me and what does not. A path where I realize that something special that resides within me that will not be suppressed but instead will rise up in me taking voice and spilling over into the world of the arts, pouring out my essence and leaving my imprint and contributions on the worlds of dance, music and art. I have shed my fear and sexualization of children, set it aside. I will walk boldly into to describe this new chapter of my life, of my art, of me; stripping away heavy burdens and of children, all that is unnecessary. I am advancing in my most natural state, to whatever it is that the future holdsand I will do so with pride.
